A visibility test records whether a particular viewer can find or open a particular post at a stated time. It does not reveal X’s internal penalty status or prove why a result is missing.

Run a small manual check

  1. Save the account and a few recent public post URLs. Record date and time.
  2. Open each URL directly using your normal authorized access. Note notices or unavailable content.
  3. Search an exact distinctive phrase or account/date query. Record query, filters and selected result type.
  4. Compare only permitted viewer contexts. Logged-out access can be blocked or incomplete.
  5. Record what appeared, what failed and what could not be checked. Keep screenshots or source evidence without treating an overlay as article content.

A direct URL working while search misses the post is evidence of a difference between those observations. It is not definitive proof of a shadowban.

Optional external checker

Bulkoid’s Twitter Shadowban Checker is an optional external interface. It requires an email address and a Turnstile verification check. Its end-to-end result was not verified in this review. Do not interpret its labels as proof of an internal X penalty or pay for guaranteed recovery.

Read the service’s privacy terms before submitting information. You do not need to use an external checker to keep a manual observation log.

Interpret missing results cautiously

ObservationWhat it can establishWhat remains unknown
Direct post opensThat viewer could access it thenWhether every user can find it
Search misses the postThat query/context did not return itCause and full indexing status
Checker cannot completeThe test did not completeAccount restriction status
X displays a noticeThe stated notice appliesAnything beyond its scope

Choose the next step

Use official instructions for a displayed restriction. For a reporting decline, check data coverage and comparable posts. Retest a specific uncertain observation later without repeatedly submitting unnecessary personal data. There is no fixed recovery schedule established here.

Tweet Archivist does not expose internal X trust scores or provide the threshold-alert system described by older versions of this article. Read the restriction explanation and query troubleshooting for the related tasks.
